Every session is designed to feel relaxed, unhurried and centered around your dog’s personality, not expectations or performance.
Rather than asking dogs to pose or “behave,” I create space for them to simply be themselves. We move slowly, follow their lead, and allow the session to unfold naturally.
This approach is especially supportive for senior dogs, sensitive dogs, and families who want a relaxed dog portrait experience here on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

We start with a conversation about your dog. Who they are, what they love, what makes them nervous. Then I share my location gallery and we choose a beach, woods, or studio setup that suits them.
session
02/ the session
Unhurried and guided, at your dog's pace. Leashes are fine. Sniffing is encouraged. You just get to be there with them. Their only job is to be a dog.
Reveal
03/ reveal
We meet for a private reveal and see your images together for the first time. Then I show you your favorites on the walls of your own home, so you can choose artwork that truly belongs there.

Wall art and printed products start at $490
Most clients invest between $1200 - $2400 on final products.
Most families choose to preserve their images as custom wall art, heirloom albums, or a combination of both.
Finished artwork is selected and purchased separately, allowing you to build a collection that feels meaningful, personal, and lasting.

Where are you located?
I'm based in Wakefield, Massachusetts, and photograph dogs across the North Shore, including Reading, Lynnfield, Melrose, Salem, Beverly, Gloucester, and Marblehead, plus Greater Boston and New England.
My Dog Can’t be off Leash, is this ok??
Yes! Absolutely! Most of the dogs we photograph are on a leash. Leashes not only keep your dog safe, but are often required in many locations. I retouch out the leashes in the final portraits
What if my dog doesn't behave perfectly?
Perfect behavior isn't expected or needed. Sessions are designed to follow your dog's lead, allowing space for movement, curiosity, and rest. Some of the most meaningful images come from these natural, unplanned moments.
Do you photograph large dogs?
Absolutely. Giant breeds are a specialty. I'm the photographer for Northeast Canine, a nonprofit that breeds, trains, and donates Great Dane service dogs.
How do I choose a location?
We'll discuss locations during our planning call. Favorites include Wingaersheek and Pebble Beach in Gloucester, Winter Island in Salem, Endicott Park in Beverly, Breakheart Reservation in Wakefield, and my Wakefield studio. I'll help you choose the perfect spot for the look you love and your dog's comfort.
Can I be in the photos with my dog?
Yes, and I highly recommend it. Some of the most treasured portraits are the ones of you together: the way your dog leans into you, or looks up at you. I'll guide you through easy, natural poses, so you don't need to feel camera-ready or know what to do. Just be there with your dog, and I'll take care of the rest.
Do you offer digital files?
Yes. Digital files are included for the portraits purchased, for sharing and personal use. However, the heart of this experience is the creation of tangible art work, photographs designed to be seen, lived with and enjoyed every day.
Do you photograph senior dogs?
Yes, and these sessions are close to my heart. Legacy sessions celebrate your senior or aging dog at a gentle, unhurried pace, at home, outdoors, or in the studio, so you have beautiful portraits of the dog who's been by your side for so many years.
What if I don't know what I want to order?
That's completely normal. You don't need to decide anything in advance. During your viewing appointment you'll be guided through your images and artwork options in a relaxed, unhurried way.
