Biscuit’s family reached out because he’d been having some mobility issues, and they wanted to mark this chapter with him in one of his favorite places. He loves the snow and the beach so we headed to Castle Island, in Boston, with snow on the ground and ocean nearby. This special Dog Portrait Session in Boston captured Biscuit’s personality.
Biscuit is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve had in front of my camera. Happy to be out, happy to be with his people, and absolutely delighted by his treats. The day was mild for a New England winter, the snow was still fresh, and he made the most of every minute of it.
He was in his element. The snow, the ocean air, his family right there with him. These photos show exactly what the day felt like, a Corgi who had somewhere to be and was glad to be there. His family played with him, stood with him, and just let him do his thing. That’s all a session like this needs.

This Dog Portrait Session in Boston was a perfect way to capture the beautiful bond between Biscuit and his family.

We ended at the beach as the light was going. The sunset came through soft and warm, and Biscuit settled into it. These are the quieter frames from the day, just him and his family, close together, the water behind them.

Biscuit is doing great. His family sent a note after the artwork arrived to say he loves seeing his portrait on the new wall. I believe it. He’s that kind of dog.
If you’re interested in dog photography, reach out. We’d love to hear from you. A Dog Portrait Session in Boston could be just what you need!
