FAQs
My Dog Can’t be off Leash, is this ok?
Yes! Absolutely! Most of the dogs we photograph are on a leash. Leashes not only keep your dog safe, but are often required in many locations. I retouch out the leashes in the final portraits
How do I choose a location?
We will discuss possible session locations during our consultation call. We will find the best match based on your dog’s personality and what look you would like your final images to have.
How long do sessions last?
A typical session usually takes between one to two hours to capture, and this is the same for both studio and outdoor sessions. There is no time limit on her sessions as this a fun experience for you and your pet and we meet them where they are!
What if it rains?
We'll try our best to hold the session at our agreed-upon date and time. However, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans! If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll definitely reschedule.
Is it going to be really expensive?
The packages available have a great deal of value packed inside them. Clients have never said or suggested what Beth offers is overpriced. In fact, most come back time and time again for more photographs!
Session fees and starting wall art pricing can be seen on the Sessions Page by clicking here. Full product guides are sent after your phone consultation and most clients tend to invest between $500 and $3000 on their photographic session and artwork afterwards. What you buy is entirely up to you!
If we choose studio, where is this held?
I have a studio in downtown Wakefield Massachusetts, with parking and easy access. For dogs, humans and similar subjects, this is where you will be headed.
Can I be in the portraits too?
Of course! I love documenting the wonderful connection between dogs and their humans! While we certainly capture a traditional portrait, my clients especially love capturing the candid moments that they share with their dog. We think beyond traditional posed portraits to tell the story of your relationship in a fun and natural way.
If this is your first time booking a portrait session, don’t worry. Elizabeth will guide you all the way through this experience so that is one to remember!
