A guided, unhurried approach to creating artwork that honors your dog exactly as they are

What to Expect

This page outlines how the portrait experience flows and how collections are structured, so you can explore the details at your own pace.

You’ll find a step-by-step overview of the process, along with general investment information to help you decide if this experience feels like the right fit for you and your dog.

If you’d like a deeper sense of what the experience feels like, you may want to begin with The Experience page first.Subheading

explore each step:

Every session begins with thoughtful planning centered around your dog.

Before your session, we’ll talk through what feels most natural for them, including location options, timing, and any sensitivities or needs they may have. This allows us to approach the session with clarity and intention, rather than rushing decisions on the day of.

Whether your dog is energetic, reserved, aging, or somewhere in between, the planning process ensures the experience feels calm, supportive, and tailored to who they are right now.

There’s no pressure to know exactly what you want, my role is to guide you through the decisions so everything feels considered and easeful from the start.

Step one: Planning

Sessions are calm, relaxed, and guided with care, never rushed or forced. There’s no pressure to perform and no expectation of perfection.

We move at your dog’s pace, allowing space for exploration, pauses, and quiet moments. This is where connection unfolds naturally, and where honest, soulful images begin to take shape.

Whether your dog is playful, reserved, aging, or somewhere in between, the session is shaped around what they need in that moment.

Step Two:  the Session

After your session, you’ll return for a personalized viewing and ordering appointment.

This is a guided, relaxed experience where you’ll see your images for the first time and receive support in choosing artwork that fits your home, your style, and the way you want to remember this chapter of your dog’s life.

Together, we’ll curate pieces that feel meaningful and lasting — whether that’s custom wall art, an album, or a combination of both. There’s no pressure to decide quickly and no expectation to purchase more than what feels right for you.

The focus is on creating tangible pieces meant to be lived with and loved, not stored away.

step three: viewing & ordering

step threestep twostep one

Portrait sessions begin with a $290 session fee, which includes thoughtful planning, the photography session itself, and a personal viewing and ordering appointment.

Finished artwork is purchased separately. Portrait collections begin at $490, with most clients choosing custom wall art, albums, or a combination of both to preserve their portraits in a meaningful, lasting way.

While every collection is tailored individually, most clients invest between $1,800–$3,500 in finished artwork, depending on how they choose to display and preserve their images.

Rather than offering one-size-fits-all packages, collections are built thoughtfully and guided throughout the process. During your viewing appointment, I’ll help you select pieces that fit your home, your style, and the way you want to remember this chapter of your dog’s life.

There is never any pressure to purchase more than what feels right, my role is to support you in creating artwork that feels intentional, personal, and truly lived with.
