FAQ’S
Considering a photo session for your dog, but are unsure what the process entails? We’ve got you covered with some frequently asked questions! Spoiler alert: your dog does NOT need to be perfectly trained!
-
Yes! Absolutely! Most of the dogs we photograph are on a leash! Leashes not only keep your dog safe, but are often required in many locations. I retouch out the leashes in the final portraits.

It’s okay! As dog photographers we have worked with dogs of all energy levels and have positive ways to work with them. We believe in meeting the dog where they are! We don’t need their attention for long to get great portraits!

-
We will try our best to hold our session at our scheduled day and time. However, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll reschudule!

The custom made package options available have lots of value packed in them! Clients have never said or suggested what Beth offers is overpriced. In fact, most come back time and time again for more photographs!
Session fees and starting wall art pricing can be seen on the Sessions Page.
Full product guides are sent after your phone consultation and most clients tend to invest between $500 and $3000 on their artwork afterwards. What you buy is entirely up to you!

-
All location sessions are held an hour and a half before sunset. This is the best, most flattering light. We avoid harsh mid day light and shadows at all cost!
-
A typical session usually lasts between one to two hours to capture, and this is the same for both location and studio sessions with one exception. If you are in studio and have a very shy an timid dog, we allow them time to settle in and trust us.
Sessions are a fun experience for you and your pet and we meet them where they are!
-
Of course! I love documenting the wonderful connection between pet and their humans! While we certainly capture a traditional portrait, my clients especially love capturing the candid moments that they share with their dog. We think beyond the traditional posed portraits to tell the story of your relationship in a fun and natural way!
